Hi if you book one of the tours you will see a lot more and learn about the history, Obviously it is in the process of restoration, but definitely worth a visit.

You can walk around part of the house and grounds for free. Also, there is a lovely cafe.

As far as I know all visits are part of tours. Check their website.

It’s by tour only and it’s not cheap! £20 a ticket unless you’re a member of the Nationals trust when it’s £10. But its worth it and you feel you’re doing your bit to being the house back to life. I don’t usually do tours but our guide was so knowledgeable it was completely worth it.
