Hi Valery, our total tour time from the time we leave downtown until returning you to your ship is 4 hours. We drive you out north of town to the Clover Pass Resort where there are far less people roaming around and statistically much nicer weather than downtown Ketchikan. So about 45 minutes of the tour is round trip transportation to and from the marina. Once we arrive we get geared up for paddling, which depending on the weather and the group could take anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes. We go over some safety and loading instructions and load into the kayaks from the dock. Our tours can be on the water anywhere from 2 to 2.5 hours. After paddling we serve up Alaskan smoked salmon and other snacks and beverages there at our gazebo for about 15 to 20 minutes and are often watching the resident sea lions swimming around the docks before it's time to load up and head back to town. On average, most of our tours spend about 2 hours and 15 minutes in the kayaks. Then they all need to pee...lol

We were very lucky and were entertained by a large male sealion just as we were returning back to pier but you just never know what you might come across. Enjoy.

We run very educational tours that aren't just about paddling for 2 hours out there and we're very flexible with the pace of the tour. We pair you up in tandem kayaks which are nice and wide and stable. As far as weight restrictions go, I've included the cockpit dimensions from the Necky website, but I think anyone with a waste line that is 56" or less should be comfortable in the kayaks.
