We happened on this place while walking downtown area and campus. What a wonder student union location. Lots of seating with options of food and drink. Great views along the lake.Full review by bcsystems

Memorial Union Terrace is located along the lake. A beautiful view! There is stage and often free bands to listen to. Schedules are posted online about upcoming events. The famous sunflower chair…Full review by NEM1234

Had a very pleasant walk along the shoreline. Loved watching the sailboats and paddleboarders. It is a very popular place and I can see why. Don't forget to get ice cream.Full review by Elaine H

The Capitol of course; it has the only granite dome in the US. You get a good view of it from Monona Terrace mentioned above. Ice cream is a must and the Union is the best …

The Capitol of course; it has the only granite dome in the US. You get a good view of it from Monona Terrace mentioned above. Ice cream is a must and the Union is the best place because of construction around Babcock Hall. The UW campus is worth seeing for the beauty and variety of architecture. It all depends on your interests.

I have bought beer at the terrace several times in the past year and was never turned down. I am not a member.
