The day we went everything was closed up and didn’t see any ranger or staff so do not know The leaves had not change yet Good luck and maybe someone from that area might know
How’s the drive up from Phoenix? We have some nervous drivers.

It's a highway, but in good condition. There are big trucks of course. Traffic moves along pretty well. As far as highways go, it's scenic and much better than many I've traveled.
How long did it take to kayak end to end? Can you rent kayaks from either north or south boat launches? Which boat launch would be a better choice to begin at? Thanks!
A:
I’m only aware of one boat launch and it’s located right off of 89 at the roundabout. It’s the same entrance to the campgrounds.
