Lovely waterfalls with easy access from the parking lot. It wasn't busy the day we visited, which made for a nice, quiet visit.Full review by VaAlleyCat

Absolutely not possible, much too far! We took the tour offered by our Celebrity cruise, and it was wonderful; so many other sites seen on the tour as well.

Hi Lorie. I'm a local, living 15 minutes from the waterfall. I recommend a Lake Myvatn daytour from the Cruise ship, Godafoss is included in Lake Myvatn day tours from various tour operators like myself. Pickup and drop off is where you dock in Akureyri. Best regards, KIP - Tour Guide in Iceland.
