Very muddy at low tide and a long walk to the sea but otherwise a quiet and sandy beach with a good car park close to the beach and easily accessible toiletsFull review by Alice G

The beach is absolutely packed especially in this hot weather with visitors now arriving by 8am!!!! to fight for place to park cars they are up all the roads (a right nuisance to local residence) Some have to find places a fair way from he beach having to carry their bags along way. It is a nice beach other times as it is sand. Now we have the visitors and all the local holiday camps are full so you have all those on the each too. Only one lot of toilets I don't know what they are like during the day. If you are concerned about Con-19 I would stay clear. Further along is Camber usually a much better beach but it has been so full they have closed it each sunny day so far. The other side Dymchurch is always packed as it has amusements and shops and a large car park nearly always full the other hot day that was closed as well.
Hi, I'm bringing my elderly Mum who has trouble walking, what's the easiest way from car park to beach please? I can always drop her somewhere easier for her to walk to and then park the car if thats better! Thank you very much

Thanks, actually I'm happy to say no one had to clean up after us, and being able to sit on a beach and while away a few hours for an elderly person who has particularly suffered during lockdown can be a healing balm. I understand some can act like they're in a zoo, thank God we didn't and had a very pleasant visit. (Went to Littlehampton).
Are there any parts of the beach where I can walk my dog she is a miniature Yorkshire Terri or and not used to beaches but would like her to have that experience. Thanks

There’s restrictions on part of the beach from May to Sept but these are well signposted outside of this area you can walk dogs.
