Lovely day with the grandchildren but I wish I had brought a picnic. The only catering is the main cafe so we went hungry as we had passed it early on and didn’t want to go backFull review by Jane G

Hello David, from what I could ascertain it seems to be, as there are ramps and the ground is mainly all flat anyway. There are some stairs that can be circumvented and the Zoo itself provides a FREE carer who can be admitted with a guest who has accessibility needs throughout the journey. From what i've read they provide a free manual wheelchair "if needed" and a carer who can help during part or all of the trip for inclines etc. Hope this helps!

How many hours should we plan to spend in the zoo? We are going next week and although the forecast is for storm and rain we have no choice as we prebooked everything over a month ago

I would suggest 2-3 hours walking around the zoo & extra time for a picnic if weather allows. Hope it stays dry & you have a good day x
