Israel and Iran have begun a new round of attacks, as the conflict between the two heavily armed rivals enters its fourth day.

Israel struck Iran's state-run television station Monday during a live broadcast, forcing a reporter to run off camera following an explosion, after Iran fired a new wave of missiles at Israel that killed at least eight people.

Israel’s spy agency Mossad was conducting operations inside Iran, including hunting for leadership targets in Tehran, a person familiar with the operations said Friday. The operations were reported earlier by Axios.

"This confrontation will not end with last night's limited actions and Iran's strikes will continue, and this action will be very painful and regrettable for the aggressors," Fars reported, citing senior military officials.
