Five Planned Parenthood locations in California have closed following cuts to funding under the federal spending and tax bill signed into law earlier this month by President Trump, the organization said.

Planned Parenthood closed 5 California clinics after Medicaid cuts, ending key services and impacting over 22,000 mostly Medi-Cal patients.

The nonprofit cited a loss in federal funding triggered by President Donald Trump’s massive tax bill as the primary reason for closing the clinics.
