Trade speculation has swirled around Sutton since last year, and the Steelers were reportedly one of the teams interested in him. However, Denver ended up holding on to its No. 1 target.

The Steelers are slated to have $84 million in cap space next offseason and could also have a ton of draft capital in the 2026 draft, meaning they have the resources necessary to pull off a trade for Sutton and sign him to an extension. However, Denver would be foolish to move on from their standout No.1 receiver.
