Maple Leafs Get Crucial Injury Update from Anthony Stolarz
The Toronto Maple Leafs could be getting a key reinforcement in net soon, as goaltender Anthony Stolarz took the ice and completed a full practice Tuesday for the first time since undergoing knee surgery in December. Stolarz had already taken the ice earlier this month when he practiced on Friday, taking his first reps since Dec. 12.
Stolarz hasn’t played since December 12, marking an eight-week hiatus where the goaltender hasn’t seen game action.
Goaltender Anthony Stolarz, making his first appearance since Dec. 12, stopped 26 shots as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the host Seattle Kraken 3-1 on Thursday.
Buoyed by some good fortune and strong goaltending, Leafs extend winning streak to three games with 3-1 win over Kraken.
