Update: 10K Austin Energy customers without power due to high winds as of 7 p.m. Tuesday
Over 24,000 Austin Energy customers were without power at 3 p.m. due to high winds ripping through the city. The utility posted to social media that all available crews were "working as quickly & safely as possible" and were bringing in additional crews to help with the outages.
