TCU Horned Frogs star Hailey Van Lith made her feelings felt after her team's Big 12 Tournament championship win.

TCU women’s basketball guard Hailey Van Lith called winning the Big 12 Championship “a blessing” after helping the Horned Frogs defeat Baylor 64-59 on Sunday to secure the program’s first conference tournament title since 2005 and first-ever in the Big 12.

The Horned Frogs win their first conference tournament title since 2005, when they were members of Conference USA.

After transferring to the TCU Horned Frogs for the 2024-25 campaign, Hailey Van Lith enjoyed an incredible season before she presumably attempts to make the jump to the WNBA. But first, she earned quite an honor from the Big 12 on Tuesday that saw her add another big accolade to her name.

Hailey Van Lith from Big 12 regular-season champion TCU has been named the conference’s player of the year, and the newcomer of the year.

TCU’s defense was instrumental in the win, holding Baylor to just two points in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter. The Horned Frogs capitalized when Taylor Bigby and Agnes Emma-Nnopu hit back-to-back three-pointers, extending TCU’s lead to 44-36.
