Kansas men's basketball coach Bill Self was released from the hospital Saturday after undergoing a procedure to have two stents inserted, the school announced. Self initially went to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Thursday after feeling unwell and experiencing "concerning symptoms."

After going to Lawrence Memorial Hospital just days ago, and undergoing a procedure, KU basketball's Bill Self has been released and is doing well.

Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball coach Bill Self was released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday, KU Athletics announced. Self, 62, was admitted Thursday after experiencing “some concerning symptoms.” He subsequently had two stents inserted.
