The boat capsized in one of Vietnam’s most popular tourist areas, Halong Bay. Over 35 of the 53 people on board have been confirmed dead, according to Vietnamese state media. A search is ongoing for the rest of the missing passengers.

The Wonder Sea boat was carrying 48 passengers and five crew members during the tour of Ha Long Bay, a popular destination for visitors, according to the reports.
