Boston Celtics reserve guard Payton Pritchard has won the 2025 NBA Kia Sixth Man of the Year award in a landslide, crushing the competing nominees in the voting and adding to the Celtics tradition of winning the award on their way to hanging banners over the decades.

Payton Pritchard had been named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year after an exceptionally productive season off the Boston Celtics bench.

As revealed in a release by the NBA, Pritchard secured 82 first-place votes. The next-closest vote-getter was Detroit Pistons veteran Malik Beasley, who had just 13 first-place votes while no other player received over two.

The rest of the NBA seems to agree that the Celtics are one of the best teams in the league. In fact, the rest of the NBA voted for the Celtics to repeat as champions this year.
