The FX comedy series “ English Teacher ” has been renewed for Season 2, Variety has learned. The series originally debuted on FX and Hulu back in September 2024 to positive reviews. Brian Jordan Alvarez created the series and also stars. Along with Alvarez, the cast includes Stephanie Koenig, Enrico Colantoni, Sean Patton and Carmen Christopher.

The news of the renewal comes after sexual-assault allegations made by his former friend and web-series collaborator Jon Ebeling.
