A candlelight vigil will be held on Southern University's campus Wednesday evening to honor the memory of Caleb Wilson, a student who died last week due to an alleged hazing incident.

In a statement released Tuesday, Southern said hazing is a violation of the school's rules and regulations, as well as a violation of state law.
