Steven Kwan hit a two-run home run, Tanner Bibee struck out eight in five innings, and the Cleveland Guardians beat the Kansas City Royals 6-4 on Saturday night to earn a doubleheader split.Kansas City won the first game 5-3 with a walk-off homer in the 10th inning.

Brayan Rocchio opened the inning with a double. Austin Hedges moved him to third with a bunt and Kwan unloaded on a 2-2 curveball for his ninth homer of the season and a 6-2 lead. The homer was the longest of Kwan’s career and his third in the last three games. It must mean his strained right wrist is starting to feel better.

The Guardians have decisions to make ahead of Thursday’s Trade Deadline. But despite playing two games on Saturday, the path ahead is still murky. Buyers? Or sellers? Standing pat? With just four games to go before the club has to decide about their future,
