One of the new features included in the app, is the ability for customers to unlock merchandise locked up on shelves in stores, which previously required employee assistance.

Instead of waiting for an employee to take pity on you and unlock the cabinets in the deodorant aisle, you may soon have another way to access the locked-up shampoo and ibuprofen you seek.

CVS is testing new functionality on their CVS Health app that allows users to unlock those annoying plexiglass cabinets.
