Brazil and Ecuador secured their spots at the 2026 World Cup on Tuesday, taking the second and third of South America's six automatic qualifying berths after champions Argentina booked their ticket in March.

Ecuador take on Brazil on Thursday, June 5, at the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha in Guayaquil, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. ECT local time in Ecuador. That makes it an 8 p.m. BRT in Brazil, an 7 p.m. ET or 4 p.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada, a 12 midnight BST start in the UK and a 1 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Monday.

Brazil has held Ecuador to a 0-0 draw in a South American World Cup qualifying game that marked Carlo Ancelotti’s debut as national team coach.
