Jurassic World: Rebirth feels like an old adventure movie and a homage to those that came before. While it's impossible to emulate the three-time Oscar winner, Edwards honors what Spielberg laid the foundation for all those years ago. It's fantastical, romantic, awe-inspiring, but most of all... fun.

John Hammond's great dinosaur theme park affront to God and man remains singular. Even Spielberg didn't even try to resurrect that exact mix of awe and terror in The Lost World, that film leaning far more into the scary nature of the flesh-eating dinosaurs as opposed to their grass-eating, foot-stomping wonder.
