Two days before the start of the 89th Masters, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose were invited to dinner by a few members of Augusta National.

Justin Rose kept hitting balls to stay loose at the tournament practice facility, all alone save for longtime caddie Mark Fulcher, everything eerily quiet around him while drama was unfolding elsewhere on Sunday at the Masters.

"When the big stage is there, I can kind of bring my game and still compete with the best players in the world," Rose said.
