Chicago Cubs fans shared their excitement with ABC7 about multiple reports saying the MLB All-Star Game will come to Wrigley Field in 2027.

The Cubs, the City of Chicago, and Major League Baseball are set to officially announce next week that Wrigley Field has been awarded the 2027 All-Star Game. Sun-Times sources confirmed the rollout, which will include officials from all parties, is scheduled for Aug. 1, as Crain’s Chicago Business reported Wednesday night.

This round of the City Series arrives as the July 31 trade deadline nears. The Cubs are in a position to buy while the White Sox will be looking to sell.
