Fittingly, it was none other than Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. who was named as the first entrant into the 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, as he’ll be swinging for the fences in front of his home fans when Truist Park hosts the Derby on July 14.
Atlanta's own Ronald Acuña Jr. will represent the Braves and look to take home the chain in front of a home crowd. Though Acuña didn't make his season debut until late May, he's been on fire since returning to the field and is now up to 11 home runs, 20 RBI and a .336 batting average in 41 games.
