The fourth running of the Bank of America 13.1 race on the West Side of Chicago went off without a hitch. Transgender athlete AB Hernandez, a 16-year-old junior at Jurupa Valley High School, won multiple metals at California's state track and field championships, after President Trump ordered officials to block her from competing.

CHICAGO - Another major Chicago race is stepping off this Sunday on the city’s West Side. The Bank of America Chicago 13.1 is expected to begin at 7 a.m., and thousands of runners will participate. The 13.1-mile race will start and end in Garfield Park and runners will make their way through Humboldt Park and Douglass Park.
