Kirill Kaprizov had two power-play goals and the Minnesota Wild beat the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2 on Thursday to take a 2-1 lead in the first-round series.

The Wild also promoted rookie Liam Ohgren, who made his NHL debut at Vegas last season, from the minor-league practice to the big club. Ohgren, 21, had five points in 24 games with the Wild this season and had 19 goals and 37 points in 41 games for Iowa, including nine goals and 21 points in his final 19 games.
