NASA's Lucy spacecraft has beamed back pictures from its latest asteroid flyby. NASA released the images on Monday, a day after the close encounter.

NASA’s Lucy spacecraft successfully flew past asteroid Donaldjohanson, collecting data and images of the second of its 11 targets as it heads deep into the solar system.

Asteroid Donaldjohanson has turned out to be a picturesque waypoint as NASA’s mission heads toward Jupiter’s Trojan asteroids.
