The attack happened Wednesday night outside a restaurant as people were leaving an album-release party for Chicago rapper Mello Buckzz. Another mass shooting happened at a club that operated from the same address in 2022.

Four people were killed and 14 others wounded in a mass shooting late Wednesday night in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. A dark-colored vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire on a crowd near the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue around 11 p.m., police said. No arrests have been made as detectives continue to investigate.
