Ranveer Allahbadia received interim protection from the Supreme Court though his passport will be held by the police. The National Commission for Women has issued a second summons for the YouTuber and his associates.

Senior advocate Abhinav Chandrachud, representing Allahbadia, argued for protection from coercive action, citing death threats the influencer has been receiving. The bench agreed but stressed that Allahbadia must fully cooperate with ongoing investigations in Maharashtra and Assam.

SC said no further FIR shall be registered against him on the basis of the episode aired on show India's Got Latent. Supreme Court asked him to deposit his passport with police and he can't leave country without permission of the court.
