Star freshman Ace Bailey has made a decision on his future following an outstanding first season with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in 2024-25. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the 6'10" guard has officially declared for the 2025 NBA draft.

Vecenie projects Bailey as a top-five pick due to his pure talent. “Some see real star upside, while some see a good, Michael Porter Jr.-like role player, and yet others worry significantly about his decision-making. The pre-draft process will be incredibly important,” Vecenie wrote.

Ace Bailey was a third-team All-Big Ten selection, averaging 17.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 blocks and one steal in 30 games.
