San Diego Supercross 2025 will be a race talked about for years and years to come. What a night of racing from Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, for round 2 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship and the first leg of the 2025 SMX Championship series.

Julie Beaumer scored his first Supercross podium in the season opener in Anaheim. It took only one more race to get his first victory.

Two-time series champion Eli Tomac scored the 53rd win of his Supercross career Saturday night at Snapdragon Stadium. The 32-year-old Tomac, from Cortez, Colo., rode his Yamaha to a 1.52-second victory over defending series champion Jett Lawrence of Australia in the 24-lap main event for 450cc motorcycles.

Chase Sexton fell on the opening lap, dropping to last place. Sexton worked his way up to the top 10 by lap 10. Sexton passed Malcolm Stewart for P6 on lap 19, which was as far as he could advance. Sexton was able to close to within a second of Hunter Lawrence on the final lap.

Round 1 was tough on the defending champions Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan. They will try to rebound in San Diego.

Eli Tomac grabbed the win inside Snapdragon Stadium to earn his 53rd career Monster Energy AMA Supercross victory.

Chase Sexton has the Supercross red plate for the fourth time in his career. He's never held onto it in three previous tries for more than one week.
