In a brief order, the court directed the Trump administration not to remove Venezuelans held in Texas' Bluebonnet Detention Center "until further order from this court."

The ruling comes after the Trump administration had notified migrants in the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Texas of its use of the Alien Enemies Act.

Many of the Venezuelan immigrants who have been removed under the Alien Enemies Act have been sent to a prison in El Salvador known as the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo, or CECOT. Grove said it is unclear whether that was the plan for the folks represented in this case, too.
