Hancock was drafted in the first round of the 1982 NFL draft (No. 11 overall) by Kansas City. He is the highest drafted wide receiver in the NFL to play for the Vols. Hancock played for the Chiefs from 1982-86. He totaled 73 career receptions for 1,266 yards and 12 touchdowns. The former Vol was released following the 1985 season.
