The Dallas Wings officially introduced No. 1 overall draft pick Paige Bueckers of UConn and the rest of their 2025 draft class on Wednesday at Dallas City Hall. Bueckers repeatedly emphasized that Dallas is a great sports city and she expressed excitement about what’s ahead for the Wings.

No. 1 WNBA draft pick Paige Bueckers was officially introduced by the Dallas Wings on Wednesday. Bueckers, along with fellow Wings rookies, Aziaha James, Madison Scott, JJ Quinerly and Baylor alum Aaronette Vonleh made their first appearance in Dallas with Mayor Eric Johnson and City Manager Kimberly Tolbert.
