Chennai Super Kings became the first team to fall out of contention for the Indian Premier League playoffs as Yuzvendra Chahal performed a hat trick in Punjab Kings' four-wicket win.

Chahal went on to pick wickets of Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kambhoj and Noor Ahmad in three consecutive deliveries in the 19th over to complete his hat-trick

It was Yuzvendra Chahal's second hat-trick in IPL, and he became the third player to claim it multiple times in the tournament.
