The SharkNinja pressure cookers, sold at retailers including Walmart and Amazon, have sparked 26 lawsuits after reports of burn injuries.

The household appliance maker says it has received 106 reports of burn injuries, of which more than 50 were second- or third-degree burns.

More than 1.8 million Ninja Foodi appliances are being recalled due to the pressure cooker function causing burn injuries. The voluntary recall of the Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers/TenderCrisp Air Fryers was announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission Thursday citing 106 reports from consumers of burn injuries.
