Belk is converting the upper level of its Northlake Mall store into an outlet offering a range of products and designers at a lower cost, the Charlotte department store chain announced Thursday.

Belk has inked deals to expand its growing portfolio of outlet stores. The Charlotte-based retailer will bring that concept to Eastridge Mall in Gastonia and Triangle Town Center Mall in Raleigh.
