With the regular season winding down, it’s time to look toward the district playoffs in the Boise, Idaho, area. Boys basketball tournaments are set for four of the six classifications in the Treasure Valley.

Enzo Ferrero’s 13 points, five rebounds and four assists led a balanced offensive effort for fifth-seeded Westfield, No. 19 in the NJ.com Top 20, as it defeated 13th-seeded Summit, 58-36, in the first round of the Union County Tournament in Westfield.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The brackets are set, and the OHSAA boys basketball tournament begins within the next two weeks. It’s a new format for Ohio with seven divisions, an expanded number of brackets from the traditional four-division setup the state has seen since 1988. It all begins Feb. 18 with first-round games in some divisions.

Jayden Hodge scored 18 points with St. Rose, No. 9 in the NJ.com Top 20, tallying three rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 82-31 triumph against 20th-seeded Jackson Memorial in the second round of the Shore Conference Tournament in Belmar. St. Rose (16-7) led 40-9 in the first half against Jackson Memorial.
