Colorado House Minority Leader, Representative Rose Pugliese, hosted an inaugural brunch Sunday for more than 60 Coloradans who made the trek to D.C.

On Trump's schedule for Saturday night is a reception dinner with fireworks at his golf club in Sterling, Virginia, which is about 30 miles from Washington.

Californians attending the inauguration are hopeful and optimistic about the future and they also hope the country can unite and move forward.
