Bike riders with three off-leash dogs were using the Auger Falls trail system when an off-leash dog was bitten and chased by a coyote, according to a news release from the Fish and Game.

After a recent incident between a dog and a coyote, city and wildlife officials are urging those taking their dogs outdoors to have caution.
