COLUMBUS, Ind. –Bartholomew County Emergency Management has updated the severe weather outlook for today through the weekend, with Bartholomew County now in a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms today.
The National Weather Service late Sunday issued a tornado warning for parts of central Ohio as a storm front came through.
If the sirens sound, the National Weather Service will have issued a Tornado Warning for the local area, FCEM&HS said.

Sunday – 2 to 11 p.m. Primarily between 2 and 8 p.m. for Bartholomew County, but can occur anytime between 2 and 11 p.m. Damaging wind gusts – 70 to 80 + mph. Please note these winds can still do the same damage as an EF0 or EF1 tornado.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Central Ohio took a beating from Mother Nature for a couple hours Sunday night, but the worst of it moved out of the area after 11 p.m. Tornado warnings were issued in Franklin and other area counties, but they expired at about 10:15 p.m.
