IGN reports that about 100 employees at Respawn were laid off, including developers, QA workers, and publishing staffers. IGN also says that some workers were moved from Respawn over to EA Motive’s Iron Man game, the Battlefield series, “and other projects.”

Beloved video game publisher Electronic Arts canceled its upcoming Titanfall game and fired over 300 employees today. A third of the cuts, Variety reports, came from EA’s developer Respawn, the makers of the popular Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi series.

EA has confirmed a round of layoffs across its development studios, with Star Wars Jedi team Respawn Entertainment seemingly the hardest hit. According to a Bloomberg report that builds on EA's statement, around 300 to 400 employees have reportedly lost their jobs.
