HyperX has taken its Alloy FPS model and upgraded it with RGB backlighting to provide a premium keyboard experience, which includes a premium $110 price (See it on Amazon).

The new HyperX Alloy Elite RGB ($170 on Amazon) is the opposite end of the spectrum, decked out with RGB lighting, media keys, a wrist rest, and a much larger footprint. It’s the flagship.

The HyperX Alloy FPS RGB keyboard ($110) gets the pricing correct, but the "premium" part is a bit more debatable.

The HyperX Alloy Elite 2 keyboard differs from its predecessor in a few distinct ways. First, the Elite 2 is $40 cheaper than when the Alloy Elite RGB first launched in 2018.

While only 3700 people, 3699 others than me, will get their hands-on the HyperX One2 Mini RGB, we find very little to detract anyone from buying this mechanical keyboard.

Expect RGB lighting and the company’s signature linear red switches. But best of all is the price. HyperX plans to sell Alloy Origins 60 for $100 when it comes out on February 22nd.

HyperX includes a clip-in style wrist rest with the Alloy Elite RGB. Where hands would typically rest, there is a textures surface offered so that your hands will not slide off of it.

HyperX have also included a full USB 2.0 pass-through connection, as opposed to the data-less, charging only USB socket they'd used on the original Alloy keyboard.
