Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has ended a strange and unfortunate NFL streak after defeating the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.

Before he was a Super Bowl champion with the Eagles, Jalen Hurts battled plenty of adversity in his football career in college and the pros.

Hurts' connection to Jordan is well known. He kept a photo of Jordan in his locker during the lead-up to his last Super Bowl appearance two years ago. Hurts is also one of the NFL’s most prominent Jordan Brand athletes. But his connection to Jeter (who also was a Jordan Brand athlete when he was a player) is less well known.
