Eight months after his death, Johnny Gaudreau’s wife, Meredith Gaudreau, has given birth to their third child. The late Columbus Blue Jackets’ star died Aug. 29 while biking with his brother, Matthew Gaudreau, in Oldmans Township, New Jersey. Both brothers were struck and killed by a driver accused of drunk driving.

Meredith Gaudreau, the widow of Columbus Blue Jackets forward Johnny Gaudreau, announced the birth of their son on April 1. Gaudreau said Carter Michael, their third child together, has the "same middle name as his daddy" and "looks exactly like his daddy too.
