Many of the faces in Captain America: Brave New World haven’t been on screen since 2008’s The Incredible Hulk which starred Edward Norton in the role of Bruce Banner, later recast with Mark Ruffalo when The Avengers (2012) came out and the Marvel Cinematic Universe took off.

Brave New World have dropped, and they're pretty mixed on the Marvel Phase 5 movie. Some have been calling it a return to form for the MCU, while others say the cast deserve better. The second film in the MCU has rarely factored into the universe as a whole, beyond William Hurt’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross making recurring appearances in later films. That changes with Captain America: Brave New World, which will see Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson reprise their roles as Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns/Leader, respectively.
