Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation say the Division of Motor Vehicles has run out of available combinations for ‘A’ license plates and will soon be debuting a new ‘B’ series.

It took eight years to cycle through Wisconsin license-plate combinations beginning with 'A' and probably seven years to get through 'B' plates.
