Exeter area schools went into lockdown due to a nearby police investigation Tuesday that brought a heavy law enforcement presence to Epping Road.

Three Massachusetts men are facing charges and a fourth person is being sought after reports of gunfire Tuesday afternoon, according to Exeter, New Hampshire, police.
