Sarah Michelle Gellar is weighing in on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer revival series that is nearing a pilot order at Hulu. The series would see Gellar reprise her role as Buffy Summers in a potential sequel that would have Chloé Zhao directing the pilot.

Gellar, who appears in Paramount+ with Showtime’s “Dexter” revival prequel “ Dexter: Original Sin ,” had until recently been closed to the idea of a “Buffy” return.
